Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 13 years old to use Imghippo. If you are located in the European Economic Area, you must be at least 16 years old in accordance with GDPR requirements.

By using the platform, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Imghippo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You can use certain features of Imghippo without creating an account, including image uploads, compression, conversion, and background removal. However, creating an account gives you access to additional features such as image management and the ability to comment on images.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We support sign-in through Google, Facebook, and Twitter. When you use social login, you authorize us to access the basic profile information provided by those services as described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree to use Imghippo only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the platform. Specifically, you must not upload, share, or distribute:

• Sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content.
• Content that promotes violence, hatred, discrimination, or harassment.
• Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Malware, viruses, or any harmful code disguised as image files.
• Spam, deceptive content, or images used for phishing or fraud.
• Content that exploits or endangers minors in any way.
• Personal or private information of others without their consent.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited activity, without prior notice.

Imghippo provides free image hosting with the following terms:

• Images are stored on secure servers and are accessible via direct links for as long as they remain on the platform.
• Private images (the default setting) are accessible only via their direct link and are not indexed by search engines or displayed in public galleries.
• We do not guarantee permanent storage. While we make reasonable efforts to maintain uploaded content, we reserve the right to remove images that violate our Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
• Anonymous uploads (without an account) cannot be managed or deleted by the uploader. If you need an anonymous upload removed, contact our support team.

Imghippo provides free online tools including image compression, format conversion, background removal, meme generation, and Word to PDF conversion. These tools are subject to the following terms:

• Tools are provided "as is" and results may vary depending on input file quality and format.
• Files processed through our tools are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours.
• You may process up to 5 files per request for batch operations.

The Imghippo API is available for developers to integrate image processing into their applications. API usage is subject to:

• Rate limits based on your plan (Free, Growth, Business, or Enterprise).
• Authentication via API keys, which must be kept confidential.
• Fair use — automated abuse, excessive requests, or use that degrades the service for others may result in rate limiting or account suspension.

Your content

You retain full ownership of the images and content you upload to Imghippo. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and deliver your content as necessary to provide our services. This license ends when you delete your content or your account.

Our platform

The Imghippo name, logo, website design, code, tools, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Codobux IT Services Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of our platform without our written permission.

Copyright infringement

We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded to Imghippo without authorization, please report it through our support page with details of the original work and the infringing content. We will investigate and take appropriate action.

When interacting with other users through comments or image sharing, you agree to:

• Treat other users with respect and courtesy.
• Not post comments that are abusive, threatening, or harassing.
• Not impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.
• Not use the platform to spam or promote unrelated products or services.

Users can report inappropriate content or behavior using the report function available on image pages. Our Trust & Safety team reviews all reports and takes action as appropriate. Learn more about how to report content.

By you

You can delete your account at any time through your account settings. When you delete your account, all your uploaded images, profile information, and associated data will be permanently removed from our servers. This action is irreversible. See our guide on how to delete your account.

By us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the platform in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure. In cases of severe violations, we may also report the activity to relevant authorities.

Imghippo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's reliability, availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Specifically, we do not guarantee that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
• Uploaded images will be stored permanently or indefinitely.
• Tool outputs (compression, conversion, background removal) will meet specific quality expectations in every case.
• Third-party services we integrate with will remain available or unchanged.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Codobux IT Services Private Limited and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Imghippo, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, images, or content.
• Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any conduct or content of third parties on the platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹5,000 (INR), whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Imghippo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.
